This first post is dedicated to you.

I can still picture you, having just finished a session on a big piece, explaining with big gestures how you composed it and how it would evolve. Then you gave me some of the cleverest and wisest advice on my own piece I ever got. I didn’t spend a lot of time with you. But some way you touched me deeply. The day I heard you had left us, I had to fight to hold the tears back and today as I write to you, I hold them back again. I had the honour to meet you and to know you a little bit and I will cherish your memory.

You were generous and true. Just true. We will miss you.
All my thoughts go to your family and your friends.
