1. zombie boy interview on bme

    by Maxime Buechi

For those who don’t know, BME is web’s most important community for body modification (ie tattooing).

BME recently published an interview with “Zombie”, the web-famous skull-face-tattoo bearer who had so much electronic ink spilled over the past six months.

Ironically, Alyssa who photographed him for Sang Bleu in Montreal said that actually he was much cleverer and sweet in reality than he sounds in this interview… I wanna believe her.

A crane has arrived next to our flat. It’s a welcome addition to the view. I’m going to miss it when it’s gone.

  7. Sitges

    by Adrian Wilson

At Wilson HQ we’re planning for 2 shoots in Sitges right now. It’s a neat / orderly / liberal seaside town just south of Barcelona. I’ve been photographing sunbathers there for the past 4 years.

Praying we get good weather for the fashion stories and enough heat to coax bodies onto the beaches for the personal work.

  12. interrailin’

    April 19, 2008
    by Maxime Buechi

In february (…was it february? Something like that.) I took a 3 week trip around Europe. My first actual holidays in 3 years. I traveled by myself with an Interrail ticket. I first went to Berlin to meet the Blut & Eisen family, then to Paris (briefly), London and Barcelona. In Berlin I got very generously sheltered by Hannes and his lovely wife Anne. Unfortunately, it seems I lost the roll on which the photos of them and the shop were, so all I have left concerning Be is my (rather average) architectural shots. Here are the less bad.

    BERLIN

    BARCELONA

It seems I don’t have much for London and Paris but nice memories and random personal shots (nothing to blog about), so here we come to Barcelona. True to itself: beautiful and welcoming. Thank you Kike for the shelter & the LTW/Trimur families for… well the whiskey and vodka! ;)

Naza & the wickedest throat-tattoo ever.

    Javi & the alls-seeing eye.

  13. X Maneko X

Andrew May introduced me to Maneko while we were sitting in the cold night of September, on the last day of the convention. Maneko is easily in my top 3 favourite artists when it comes to letterings & writings. For all the latino & gangsta style lovers, go and check him, his pieces speak for themselves!
By the way, the vegan restaurant that occupies a derelict bus at the Truman Brewery rules!
