bad brains
Usually, I don’t blog portfolios as such. But when I discovered Rachi Brains’ work in Tattoo Artist Magazine, and then had a look at her myspace page, I was really blown away. Especially because I had never heard of her before! (Perhaps due to her location: Brisbane, Australia) But something tells me that we’re gonna hear a lot more about her in the future!

in the right hand palm, there is a stylized skull and a cross
what is the name of that cross?
i once heard it was called the cross of the working people
but i’m absolutely not sure that is the right name

i am sorry, I can not help on this one. I couldn’t find anything about “cross of the working people” though…

If I remember well it has to do with russian miners or workers
I’ve done a little research but I still can’t find anything
there used to be a french graffiti and stencil artist in paris who signed his pieces with that very same cross
really curious to know the background
the cross is a powerful symbol as we all know
those lines add even more power to it
