Alongside the current exhibition at Pittsburgh’s Andy Warhol Museum, cultural polymath Genesis Breyer P-Orridge and publisher First Third books are set to release a coffee table book of more than 350 selected images featuring a mixture of h/er personal archives and portraits from renowned photographers.
Featuring an introduction by Mark Paytress exploring the motivations that have inspired the artist to dedicate h/er body to the Pandrogyne project, with personal commentary by Genesis on photographs throughout the book, each from the limited series will be numbered and signed by Genesis (the first 100 buyers able to request a personalised message no longer than 100 characters).
The release will also see the inclusion of three 7 inch vinyls premiering four exclusive new tracks created specifically for the project and a poster of explicit Polaroids revealing ‘Genesis and Lady Jaye’s exploration of their bodies in their spiritual quest – Suitable for framing, but not for the easily-shocked’.
The book will be available in a standard 990-copy edition from August 13th.
