Moving on up… Damir Doma

Damir Doma‘s Parisian store hidden away in the Marais will close on Wednesday, to make way for a pop-up space within a famous but secret (as-of-yet) retail location, before they open a flagship store on Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré…
Anyone is invited to 70% off all mens and women’s SS11 ranges until this Wednesday (be quick!)

Vermin in Ermine
In Paris photographing couture collections. I love photographing couture. Apart from the fact that sometimes you have 10 minutes with one look or you sit and wait 2 hours for another, it’s my favourite job of the season. One dress was seriously delayed because a princess was in the room it was hanging and she didn’t want to be disturbed. This time at Studio Rouchon with super talented Elise Ducrot & Pierre Francois Carrasco at Ann Ramirez & Michelle Westgeest at Viva and of course Charlie Harrington but she doesn’t need promoting. But best of all is my hotel lobby. How they can afford all this decor when the rooms are only 60€ a night. Mattresses fit for royalty.

Zana Bayne
Taking advantage of our presence in New York City, we attended to our friend Zana’s presentation at the Standard’s Le Bain. It was the perfect time of the day to overlook Manhattan in the dimming late afternoon light. Zana delighted us with her harnesses, from thinner woven textures to bolder armor-like structures.

Lindsay Lohan, A Richard Phillips Film
Lindsay has an incredible emotional and physical presence on screen that holds an existential vulnerability, while harnessing the power of the transcendental—the moment in transition. She is able to connect with us past all of our memory and projection, expressing our own inner eminence.
