On October the 18th took place a stunning performance at the CAC (center for contemporary art) Brétigny. It was a bondage performance curated by Marianne Maric and featuring the famous Matthias TJ Grimme.

Marianne Maric propose la décontextualisation de la pratique du Shibari, une technique issue du bondage. Elle souhaite sortir des références de cette pratique, pour les inscrire dans un rapport au corps, graphique et plastique, en utilisant le titre de la performance issu d’une peinture de Magritte qu’elle utilise comme partition pour cette performance. Dans la peinture une femme nue pose seule entourée des portraits photographiques de seize surréalistes, tous des hommes qui ferment les yeux renvoyant ainsi à un public hypothétique.
