California inspires me that light between smoke and wax dripping. Often we use the same thing to escape what has gotten us into it in the first place, like punching a face to stop it from bleeding. That’s also what California inspires me. I need to go there soon-

Designer Kris Van Assche introduces his first short film directed by Joost Vandebrug.

The film was presented on the 28th of September 2011, for the launch of LONDERZEEL number 2 during Paris Fashion week.

A MOMENT IN TIME reflects the relaxed and down to earth feel of the KRISVANASSCHE Spring Summer 2012 collection.

It tells the story of two old friends that reconnect in a bar after sometime a part.

In this ‘moment in time’ I tried to make the viewer feel familiar yet surprised and inspired by the perspective that makes this ordinary moment extraordinary – Joost Vandebrug

Starting today and until the 16th of October, our friend FUZI UVTPK is launching his first book FUZI FLASH TATTOO COLLECTION N°1.

It is an exclusive launch in Paris at Boutique Amusement de la Gaité Lyrique (3 bis rue Papin). There’ll be book signings, and exclusive t-shirts and silk-screen prints sold as a limited edition.

He’ll be tattooing on Saturday from 6pm in a pop-up tattoo parlor.
