nihilist sleeve
Thomas once told me that it’d be nice to see more tattoos on film, as opposed to the very partial photographic view. I immediately knew he was right. Here is a recent piece I found on his page, as a pretty efficient demonstration of it.

ta22dae—steve&deno
I love discovering new amazing artists (like Deno), but I also totally love going back to the “valeurs sûres” (like Steve). The former you might find interviewed in an upcoming issue, but the latter you can already find in issue 0 and issue 3/4!
Here is a mix of both artists’ work. It is pretty easy to tell one from the other anyway.

very serious tattooing (gals dat flippn rule pt 4)
People that make work like that make it easier for me to fill the pages of Sang Bleu…
Today, meet: Sarah Schor
(No wonder she is already employed by very serious shops like NYA (home) & Frith St (guest spots))

raw power
For the upcoming double-300-page-volume upcoming fifth issue of sang bleu, Alex Binnie—whom I consider a kind of spiritual guide—wrote me a stunning essay on the power of tattooing. “Raw Power” it is entitled. To illustrate it our Adrian Wilson shot a series of people tattooed by Into You’s Thomas Thomas. :)

Tattoo Circus
Earlier this year I attended to one of the randomest event ever: Tattoo Circus IV, which took place at the Binz squat in Zurich. Beer, Crust music, dogs & self-made tattoo artists. Pretty fun & friendly actually.
