1—Ashley Love should be world famous and she makes the nicest lines I have ever seen
2—”catch the tail by the tiger” is a funny surrealistic phrase

Our friend Patrick of Gorilla is probably the flakiest person I’ve ever met, but when he does what he says, he does it well. Recently he decided to put up that tour of Australia entitled “Flat Out”. On his way he managed to get tattooed by the incredible Bugsy (who for the record, was in SB 0/1!) A nice occasion to blog about cycling & inking.

I love discovering new amazing artists (like Deno), but I also totally love going back to the “valeurs sûres” (like Steve). The former you might find interviewed in an upcoming issue, but the latter you can already find in issue 0 and issue 3/4!

Here is a mix of both artists’ work. It is pretty easy to tell one from the other anyway.

People that make work like that make it easier for me to fill the pages of Sang Bleu…
    Today, meet: Sarah Schor
(No wonder she is already employed by very serious shops like NYA (home) & Frith St (guest spots))

Someone famous (and largely overrated) said: “genius is 5% inspiration and 95% work”. Or something like that. Although not fundamentally untrue, there still seems to be people who just have it, some others don’t… Javi (LTW) does.

  7. Tattoo Circus

Earlier this year I attended to one of the randomest event ever: Tattoo Circus IV, which took place at the Binz squat in Zurich. Beer, Crust music, dogs & self-made tattoo artists. Pretty fun & friendly actually.
