Siki Im’s collections are often recognised for his dark, brooding and gothic influences. The architect turned designer has become recognised for his contemporary and urban approach to luxury apparel. In 2013 Sang Bleu were commissioned to design a tattoo print for Im’s Spring 2014 collection entitled ‘Prison Break’, and inspired by an Alix Lambert documentary on prison tattoos called the Mark of Cain. The design, which acknowledged Russian-prison tattoo culture, was applied to thin cotton and featured throughout the collection which debuted at New York Fashion Week in September that year
